Moab Area Transit
The Moab Area Transit (MAT) is a fare-free, transit service in Moab in comfortable branded 12-passenger vans. MAT provides residents and visitors with more options for day-to-day transportation, making the city more accessible, reducing traffic, and clearing the air.
Please note: Any passenger under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult (aged 18 or older) for the duration of the trip.

Peak Season 2026: March 16 to October 15
DOWNTOWN ROUTE
Downtown Route Hours: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily
MAT downtown route service lets passengers hop on and off from stops along Main Street without ordering a ride. Catch it from as far north as the Fairfield Inn down to the 400 E Maverick. Use this link to see our peak season route time points.
ON-DEMAND SERVICE
On-Demand Hours: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily
Off-Peak Season 2025-26: October 16 to March 15
ON-DEMAND SERVICE
On-Demand Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday
MAT on-demand service provides door-to-door transportation to and from any location within the service area off the downtown route. Wait times vary depending on the number of requests, traffic, and weather. The on-demand service is wheelchair accessible.
