2025 ELECTION NOTICE
NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL OFFICES
Public notice is hereby given to inform residents of the City of Moab that there will be a municipal general election on November 4, 2025, for the following offices:
Mayor 4-year term; and
(Two) City Council Members 4-year term each
If a primary election is needed, it will be held on August 12, 2025.
The constitutional and statutory requirements for municipal office are:
1. The person is a registered voter in the municipality.
2. The person will be at least 18 years old at the time of the next election.
3. The person is a legal resident of the municipality for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
4. The person has not been convicted of a felony.
Interested parties may declare their candidacy for an office in person between June 2 and June 6, 2025, in the City Recorder’s Office located at 217 E. Center St., between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (excluding weekends). (UCA 10-3-301, 20A-9-203)
