* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Colorado, including the following areas, Paradox Valley/Lower Dolores River and Uncompahgre Plateau and
Dallas Divide and Utah, including the following areas, Arches/Grand Flat, Canyonlands/Natural Bridges, La Sal and Abajo Mountains and Southeast Utah.
* WHEN...From midnight MDT tonight through Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A deep surge of subtropical moisture combined with an upper
level disturbance bring the potential for excessive rainfall
and localized flash flooding. Slot canyons and areas of
steep, unstable terrain are at greatest risk.
