The City of Moab is now accepting applications for an open seat on the Moab City Planning Commission. Members of the Planning Commission must be residents of Moab City.
All city residents interested in serving on the commission are encouraged to apply. Planning commissioners are appointed to 3-year terms. The individual selected to fill the currently vacant seat will
be appointed to a term that expires on Dec. 31, 2027.
The Planning Commission typically meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. The commission is a volunteer board, with members appointed by the Mayor of Moab. The board acts in an advisory capacity for most City land use decisions. Planning Commission members receive a $75 stipend for each meeting they attend.

Center St., Moab, UT 84532. Letters of application should explain the applicant’s interest in serving on the planning commission and any relevant experience. Application letters must include name, mailing address, city, zip code, daytime phone number, and email address.
