Paving on 100 East from Uranium Avenue to just north of the Grand Avenue intersection has begun and is expected to be complete by the end of Thursday, Sept. 11.

Because the asphalt requires time to cure, minor detours may be in place for picking up middle school students after school on Thursday afternoon and dropping students off on Friday morning, but access will be clearly marked and available. 100 East from Uranium to Grand Ave. is expected to be fully open to traffic by Friday evening.

The section of 100 East from Grand Avenue to 300 South will be paved later this month after concrete curbing and other work are completed in that section and the roadway is prepped for asphalt.
