Parking Information

Parking is available throughout downtown Moab along most city streets. The City of Moab has also created public parking lots on the north end of Moab and in the heart of downtown. 

West Center Street Parking

For the convenience of residents and visitors alike, the City of Moab provides a free public parking lot located just off Main Street on West Center Street. The public parking is in the heart of downtown, close to restaurants, shopping, art galleries and other amenities. 

Overnight parking and sleeping in vehicles are not allowed in public parking lots or on city streets.

Emma Boulevard Public Parking

Free public parking is available at the north end of Moab on Emma Boulevard. This parking lot is accessible from a one-way entrance off North Main Street. Parking is also available in this area on Maxine Boulevard, which can be accessed from Mi Vida Drive. 

Overnight parking and sleeping in vehicles are not allowed in either lot.

City of Moab Parking Management Study

In 2019, the Moab City Council approved the Moab Parking Management Study to provide guidance when addressing certain parking concerns within the City. These concerns include the availability of sufficient parking in the Downtown Area, relocation of parking necessitated by the U.S. 191 widening project, the safety of all vehicles including bicycles, and addressing the large number of oversized and trailered vehicles.
